#27: Knowledge of God Matters

Knowledge of God Matters.

Which do you think shows up more in the Bible—faith or knowledge? If you do a concordance search, you will find something surprising. Knowledge (including knowing, know, etc.) shows up far more than faith does.

#16: What is the Purpose of Spiritual Gifts?

What is the purpose of spiritual gifts?

Talking about spiritual gifts can be confusing and at times controversial. But what does the Bible teach?

1 Peter 4:10-12 says:

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ…”

Everyone has a worldview—most people just don’t know it. We all have assumptions about whether God exists or not. Where we came from. Who we are…Why we are here. What life is all about. And what happens after we die—just to name a few.

Our lens for seeing the world is shaped by our family, culture, social media, what we watch, read, and listen to, and who we spend our time with.
